HuH I've never heard of a 1366 board with 4 slots. I just looked at the board. Seems the board is exactly setup like that. 3 white slots for triple channel and then another slot for another stick, just to sacrifice performance =(. Oh well… At least you are running an I7 yea?

My Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R has 4 slots which is strange for a triple channel setup. I guess it's so if you absolutely need more ram you can have it at the cost of having to revert to single channel.

Finnbarr… This board has a triple channel memory controller. All 1366 socket boards have a triple channel controllers, meaning the board only performs best when running in combinations of three sticks of memory. So it could run either 3 sticks or 6 and it would perform best in those configurations.

If it had 4 slots for memory it wud be better becuase they perform better in pairs. nice but would prefer the motherboard having 18gb or 24gb limit but nice review
